Boomers whey protein is a simple and cost effective way of getting more protein into your diet.
We only supply completely pure and natural unsweetened whey protein powder that is flavourless and easy to mix.
This makes Boomers powders extremely versatile because you can use it in whatever you want and however you want! …Shakes, smoothies, yoghurt, oats, soups, sauces, thousands of recipes… the list goes on!
We believe Boomers is the best natural protein powder because it is sourced from only the highest quality milk from grass fed, hormone-free cows, it contains abundant naturally-occurring branched chain amino acids (BCAA’s) and 3 essential amino acids that produce glutathione which is vital for recovery, growth and disease resistance.
Boomers whey protein powders are produced using the most delicate and in our opinion, the best possible extraction method, being ultra-filtration and cross-flow microfiltration. The manufacturing process is all done cold so that the end result is undenatured whey protein, the best possible amino acid profile with a great tasting natural flavour. By using this strictly controlled manufacturing process and only the highest quality raw materials, there is no need for us to “spike” the powder with additional amino acids for example.
What is in the bag? When we say 100% whey protein, we literally mean it. There is nothing else in the bag other than premium quality, natural protein powder. During manufacture a negligible amount (about 1%) lecithin is added so that the powder will mix easily. Boomers adds no flavouring, sweetener, bulking agents, additives, preservatives or anything else. Boomers is just the good stuff – Nothing else!
Some suppliers blend their protein powders – Boomers has never done this, not since the day we were established in 1997.
A commonly asked question is what is the difference between Boomers Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) and Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC)?
They are similar products and it essentially boils down to personal preference and budget. WPC requires less processing during manufacture and so it is less expensive. Some people prefer WPC over WPI for these reasons. When whey protein powder is made, the filtration process removes some of the naturally occurring carbohydrate and fat. For WPI, additional filtration occurs to remove almost all of the carbohydrate and fat in order to “isolate” the protein.
It is common to hear that WPC is for adding weight and WPI is for “leaning out” or that WPI is “better” than WPC. The facts are that the average difference will be only a few kcal per serve (depending on the brand) so in reality, both can be used for either goal.
