Calendula tincture is a herbal extract made with botanical ethanol that serves predominantly as an antiseptic wash. Its powerfully cleansing, astringent properties accelerate the resolution of broken skin and irritations deeming it the first port of call for quick efficient rescue when the body meets strife.

Tinctures are often used on their own (diluted in water), or as an ingredient in herbal products.

Directions: Add one part Calendula Tincture to five parts water and apply directly to the skin.

Ingredients: Purified water, certified organic botanical undenatured ethanol, certified organic calendula flowers. Packaging recyclable HD/LPDE (2/4) bottle with recyclable polypropylene (5) lid.

Melaleuca cajuputi / leucadendron

The Cajeput (or Cajuput) oil from the paperbark tree is often called ‘white tree’ oil and is closely related to other members of the melaleuca family including eucalyptus, clove, tea tree and niaouli. It is native to South East Asia and Australia, although the oil is rarely processed in this country.

Aroma: Top Note.

Common Names: Paper Bark tree, white tea tree, white wood, swamp tea tree, Cajeput M. minor, Melaleuca Cajeputi, Cajuput.

Perfume: A medicinal, slightly camphorous scent both herbaceous and penetrating, reminiscent of eucalyptus. There is a faint sweetness born from a mild fruity middle note.

Blends well with: bergamot, clove, geranium, lavender, niaouli, nutmeg, rose and thyme.

Part of plant used: leaves, twigs

Precautions: Generally non-toxic, however use with caution on sensitive skins and well diluted on the skin. Avoid high dosage. Seek professional advice on use during pregnancy.
